Welcome to Wisconsin's NEW Medicaid Eligibility Handbook. This policy handbook is intended for local county/tribal agency Income Maintenance workers who determine eligibility and issue benefits for the Wisconsin Medicaid Program. "Medicaid" now applies to elderly Anyone age 65 or older., blind, and disabled individuals only. The Medicaid Eligibility Handbook (MEH) pertains to policy for these individuals. BadgerCare Plus is Wisconsin's Health Care Program for families, pregnant women, and minors seeking affordable Health Insurance. The policy for that is found in the BadgerCare Plus Handbook.
