Viewing History

On each policy page, there is a link called "View History."  This links you to a page that contains links to a version of that policy page from the past.  Each time the policy changes, there will be a saved version of the old policy available to review and a link to that page will be created.  The start date for historical pages will be the summer of 2004, when the new version of the Medicaid Eligibility Handbook was implemented.

For example, let's say page 2.1.2 Choice of Application has changed 3 times since the introduction of the new online Medicaid Eligibility Handbook (summer 2004).  When you click on "View History" on page 2.1.2, you'll see 2 links to old versions of the policy.  The links will show the release numbers where the policy changed.

Each time you access the policy pages in the handbook, the current policy appears.  So if the policy for 2.1.2 has changed 3 times, the most current version shows the 3rd (most recent) time it was changed and the View History page will show the 2 other times it changed.

PDF Versions

Another method of viewing historical policy is by clicking on the PDF Versions link in the toolbar.  This will open a page that contains links to full printable versions of prior handbooks in Adobe Acrobat's PDF format.
